Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Senior Planner to join our team in Franklin TN.

A Day in the Life:

  • Compiles tactic costing into C&I I-Chart for various planning milestones ensures accuracy and reports financial impact to C&I leadership. -- Tactic is a pricing edition.

  • Work with C&I team to ensure the proposed VME (Variable Marketing Expense) spend aligns with the business plan and forecasts.

  • Responsible for the Month End close process and determining appropriate accrual amounts for all tactic types.

  • Seeks detailed knowledge of vehicle-level tactics and how proposed tactic changes affect planned VME spend.

  • Works with NMAC partners to assess intercompany rate change impact on VME spend.

  • Maintains relationship with external partner JATO to help deliver timely updates to competitive incentive tracking.

  • Supports costing analysis implementation and post-analysis of incentives for assigned models.

  • Interfaces with CMM teams for assigned models for the planning development and implementation of new vehicle incentive programs.

  • Produces competitive C&I reports analysis and presentations and recommends counter actions where appropriate for assigned models utilizing competitive incentive reports PIN PNUR (Per New Unit Retailed) analysis LPP as % of MSRP pen reports and residual variance analysis.

  • Supports the departments future fiscal year budgets utilizing lease cost worksheets APR workbook and cost analysis to forecast expense.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Who Were Looking for:

  • Strong analytical presentation and strategic thinking skills. Experience in developing and analyzing reports as well as working with numbers. Strong attention to detail is required.

  • Excellent negotiation and cross-functional skills to effectively balance priorities from various functional groups.

  • Highly motivated and must be able to multi-task and work independently when needed.

  • Advanced knowledge/experience with Word Excel and PowerPoint essential.

  • Other computer skills: Working knowledge of other PC or mainframe applications to produce non-standard creative products as needed.

  • Minimum of six or more years of directly related Sales and Marketing experience in the automotive industry. Regional Dealer contact experience preferred.

  • Bachelors degree in a related discipline. MBA preferred
