FOOD RUNNER at Destination Geneva NationalJoin the fun fast-paced Food & Beverage team at Destination Geneva National in beautiful Lake Geneva Wisconsins premier resort town. As a food runner you may work in any number of our award-winning dining venues including our five-star Hunt Club Steakhouse semi-private turf smokehouse/Member Tap at the GN Clubhouse and Crafted Italia at The Ridge Hotel. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level position into a career in Food & Beverage including server bartender and restaurant DESCRIPTIONThe dining experience is of utmost importance to our overnight and day guests. Not only do we wish to deliver an inspired menu and artfully plated dishes but we wish to do so with genuine care and the highest customer service.A food runner delivers all food menu items and accurately describes them to the guests. This role acts as a liaison between the servers cocktail servers & bartenders and chefs. Additionally runners interact with the dining room guests fellow team members and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious FUNCTIONSPrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Anticipate and accommodate all needs of the professional and exceptional and describes all food items to the guests in a timely in table maintenance and bussing of excess general cleanliness of stations and the entire supervisors instructions communicate with and support co-workers and be a team in-depth knowledge of all food menus and the with Department of Health and company sanitation the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support team members managers and sets up runners station performs side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management including stocking station with prescribed items and supplies and performing opening and closing side-work as all breakage and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to and participates in daily pre-service and participates in any training sessions or departmental by listening observes other team members and shares knowledge while leading by a positive and professional as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned
