Job Summary
The role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Member Growth - Web Acquisition team. This team is part of Sofis MarTech group and is dedicated to transforming the marketing technology landscape with the ultimate goal of accelerating SoFis member growth. We will achieve this by developing and maintaining world-class fast personalized web experiences across organic and paid channels.
You will own the full development lifecycle building innovative solutions that directly influence our top-of-funnel user acquisitions. By integrating AI-driven capabilities and building scalable web platform this role will help empower marketing and growth teams with self-serve content creation SEO/GEO optimization and experimentation on SoFis logged-out web experiences enabling faster iteration stronger organic growth and adaptability to an evolving digital ecosystem and platform constraints..
What youll do
- Drive product-led growth by creating seamless personalized and high-converting experiences on the critical funnels.
- Build web user flow including landing pages customizations and partner site interactions for Affiliates Partners user cases.
- Enable tracking attribution and inbound/outbound data sharing for Affiliates Marketing by delivering and operating highly available and scalable services in a production environment.
- Develop testable and accessible features leverage a/b experiment for measurement identify and solve potential implementation issues.
- Generate enhance and promote ideas for useful new projects and technologies.
- Communicate effectively with project leads product managers and software developers on multiple projects.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps and engineering excellence build and improve technical architectures across product features.
- Mentor other engineers support healthy technical culture and help the team grow.
What youll need
- Bachelors degree ideally in a technical field but we understand great engineers come from a variety of different backgrounds and also consider relevant work experience.
- 4 years of experience in building distributed systems and large-scale services with full development lifecycles.
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) API framework (e.g. Spring or Spring Boot) and database (e.g. MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- 24 years of experience in building user-facing web experience using React JavaScript PHP and modern web frameworks.
- Solid understanding of web technologies including frontend/backend interaction API design common design patterns.
- Strong willingness to learn act on feedback collaborate get things done.
- A solid sense of ownership to drive projects from inception to completion and accountability for problem solving and delivery.
- Be able to work efficiently and collaboratively in a dynamic production environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in scaling highly available mission-critical systems
- Direct experience in fintech financial products or consumer-facing platforms
- Exposure to performance optimization or reliability improvements in web applications
- Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) from a feature or migration perspective
- Experience with observability and analytics tools such as Datadog Amplitude and Snowflake.
