Founded in 2017 Laka set out to transform insurance by connecting passionate cyclists to form a collective and protect their bikes for when things go wrong - a better model for insurance was born. For once people come first in insurance by fairly sharing the cost amongst each other. We exist to rewrite the rules of insurance so its something people stand with not against.
Our model: Laka makes sure everything runs smoothly for The Collective - from exceptionally fast claims splitting the cost fairly guaranteeing a maximum price and all the other heavy lifting of a regulated insurance business. For that service the collective pays Laka a fee relative to the claims in a month.

The role
We are seeking a driven candidate who will own and grow Lakas Fleet portfolio in 2026. The individual will be responsible for protecting our current net revenue and delivering significant new revenue. They will strategically influence the roadmap for Q3 and Q4 using generated market insights.
- Protect the Base: Retain and grow the existing Fleet revenue.
- Drive Quick Wins: Close short-cycle high-probability fleet opportunities.
- Own the Vertical: Be the single point of accountability for Fleet performance.
- Generate Insights: Deliver structured market intelligence to guide expansion strategy.
- Enable New Products: Support rollout and commercialisation of the Commercial Warranty (EIT project).
- Take full accountability: Reducing operational load on senior leadership
What youll be getting up to:
- Visit and maintain relationships with existing London IBD partners
- Onboard new independent shops across London using the Laka Introducer model
- Train shop staff on how to present Laka at point-of-sale
- Install and refresh POS materials QR codes and digital signage
- Track shop performance (activations conversion rate feedback) through HubSpot
- Share insights with Partnerships & Product to improve our retailer experience
- Represent Lakas values: fairness transparency and community
RequirementsCould this be right for you
- Fluency in English and ideally Dutch would be excellent
- 3 years in B2B sales account management or commercial partnerships
- Experience managing revenue targets and owning a commercial pipeline
- Background in fleet mobility leasing insurance warranty or commercial risk products (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in early-stage or scale-up environments is highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in retention-focused commercial roles
- Strong stakeholder management skills (internal & external)
- Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into strategy
- Structured and organised approach to pipeline and account management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and building processes from scratch
