The Law Society of Western Australia is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our senior management team as Director Corporate Services.

This hands-on role provides leadership across the Societys corporate functions including finance people and culture governance risk facilities and business operations. You will play a key part in ensuring the organisation operates efficiently sustainably and in alignment with its strategic objectives.

About the Role

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with Council and Executive you will:

Provide strategic and operational leadership across all corporate service areas

Oversee financial management budgeting reporting and long-term planning

Lead governance risk and compliance frameworks

Champion people and culture initiatives to build a high-performing workplace

Manage facilities operations and continuous improvement initiatives

Lead strategic projects

Support Council and Committees with high-level governance and advisory services

With responsibility for a small multidisciplinary team you will ensure the delivery of professional efficient and customer-focused corporate services that enable the Society to thrive.

About You

You are a collaborative and commercially astute leader with a strong track record of success. You will bring:

Senior leadership experience in corporate services or a comparable executive role

Demonstrated expertise in financial management and human resources management

Proven ability to lead diverse teams and deliver organisational improvement

Strong communication influencing and stakeholder engagement skills

High integrity sound judgement and a commitment to excellence

Qualifications and Experience

Tertiary qualification in business finance accounting governance HR or a related field (postgraduate qualifications desirable)

Experience within professional associations not-for-profits or member-based organisations is highly regarded
