Director, Account Management
Job Summary
Our Account Director maintains the overall client relationship working across all areas of our clients business. Youll be an SME on our products and offerings. Serving as the lead for all escalation points for client matters youll quickly manage short-term client issues while balancing long-term strategic plans. Day-to-day tactical project executions within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and Content Management space will be your primary focus.
Role responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Nurture and strengthen enduring relationships with top-tier clients ensuring a deep understanding of their business objectives and effectively positioning our services to address their evolving needs.
- Technology Solution Expertise: Possess a comprehensive knowledge of our technology offerings remain updated with the latest industry advancements and articulate the distinct advantages of our solutions to clients ensuring they recognize the value and relevance to their operations.
- Account Growth: Proactively identify and seize opportunities within existing accounts fostering their growth by introducing additional solutions and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure our offerings consistently align with clients expanding needs.
- Project Oversight: Lead and oversee client projects from inception to completion coordinating seamlessly with internal teams and stakeholders ensuring timely delivery and guaranteeing that client expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Consultative Selling: Demonstrating a consultative selling approach is essential delving deeply into client challenges and objectives and proposing solutions to their needs while highlighting our unique value.
- Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth by effectively positioning and selling our solutions consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets and leveraging opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize profitability for the organization.
- Market Research: Stay well-informed through continuous market research is essential enabling the understanding of industry shifts competitor strategies and emerging technologies ensuring our offerings remain innovative and resonant with current market demands.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain records of client engagements sales and delivery activities and provide forward-looking forecasts ensuring transparent communication with management and facilitating strategic planning for the organizations growth.
- Negotiation: Ensure agreements that are advantageous for both our organization and our clients handling discussions on pricing contract terms and other pivotal aspects with tact and diplomacy.
- Customer Advocacy: Champion the voice and needs of our clients within the organization ensuring their satisfaction remains at the forefront of our efforts and promptly addressing any concerns to solidify long-term trust and loyalty.
Role requirements
- Bachelors degree in business technology or related field. Masters preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in account management/engagement or consulting role managing multiple concurrent projects ideally within the SAAS digital transformation digital marketing digital content development (client or agency) CMS solutions marketing cloud services hardware sales or marketing services areas
- Strong organizational problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience engaging with C-suite level clients generating executive summaries and communications
- Versatility flexibility and a willingness to work within a fluid business environment
- Proven ability to minimizeexposure and risk on projects; ability to drive internal accountability and collaboration
- Hands-on experience managing a team within a rapidly changing project environment
- Familiarity with agile and/or scrum processesand experience on large implementation projects and/or hardware and software rollouts with high complexity and moving pieces.
