Join Our Team as a Temporary Maintenance Helper at Homewood Suites Indianapolis Carmel!
Are you a hands-on fix-it type who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in a job well done Were looking for a Maintenance Helper to support our engineering team and keep our hotel in top shape! If youre reliable hardworking and ready to jump into a fast-paced hospitality environment we want to meet you.
Weekend availability is required but in return youll get to be part of a team that values your skills and supports your growth!
What Youll Do
As a Maintenance Helper you will:
- Assist with Repairs: Help with basic repairs in guest rooms and public areaslight plumbing painting electrical and more.
- Support Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled tasks to keep equipment systems and facilities running smoothly.
- Respond to Requests: Address guest and team member maintenance issues quickly professionally and with a smile.
- Keep It Clean: Maintain the cleanliness and safety of back-of-house areas like the maintenance shop boiler room and storage spaces.
- Team Up: Work closely with our Maintenance Supervisor and General Manager to ensure the property is always looking and functioning its best.

What Were Looking For
- Experience: Prior maintenance or facilities experience is helpful but not requiredwell train the right candidate!
- Skills: Ability to use basic tools follow safety protocols and complete tasks independently.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends.
- Attitude: Positive team-oriented and willing to learn.
