Job Summary

SUMMARY
Collaborates with District staff parents and students to identify high risk students for future prevention services. May visit students and parents in the home to determine cause for absenteeism academic or discipline problems. Monitors these students as they enter and go through school to determine impact of prevention activities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate
Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card

Five years teaching experience in appropriate grade level.

Verbal & Written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

Valid Drivers license (Arizona Drivers License required within 30 days of hire)

MVReport showing no more than the allowable points against Drivers License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliance greater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insurance as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Masters Degree in Educational Administration Curriculum & Instruction or related field

Five years teaching experience in the appropriate grade level for the position being filled

Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) Endorsement

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

COMMENTS

Effective: 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
Location:Morgan Maxwell K-8 School- Anklam & Greasewood Area

FTE: 1.0 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.For more information on salary schedule please reference theEmployee Agreements Webpage.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
