Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: SPARCS Facilitator provides structured trauma-informed group services to youth and adolescents experiencing stress trauma or emotional challenges using the SPARCS evidence-based and program curriculum.
- SPARCS Facilitator manages groups including following program curriculum and guidelines and documenting each youths progress in the sessions through case notes.
- SPARCS Facilitator will address the needs of the youth receiving services.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Masters degree in Social Work Counseling Marriage & Family Therapy or a related field with experience related to selected instructional topics
- Experience providing group facilitation skill-building sessions or therapeutic style groups preferred
- Prior work with youth and at-risk youth is strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage group dynamics maintain a safe and supportive environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized reliable and able to maintain accurate documentation
- Position requires reliable transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus
