Job Summary

Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position: SPARCS Facilitator provides structured trauma-informed group services to youth and adolescents experiencing stress trauma or emotional challenges using the SPARCS evidence-based and program curriculum.

SPARCS Facilitator manages groups including following program curriculum and guidelines and documenting each youths progress in the sessions through case notes.
SPARCS Facilitator will address the needs of the youth receiving services.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Masters degree in Social Work Counseling Marriage & Family Therapy or a related field with experience related to selected instructional topics
Experience providing group facilitation skill-building sessions or therapeutic style groups preferred
Prior work with youth and at-risk youth is strongly preferred.
Ability to manage group dynamics maintain a safe and supportive environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organized reliable and able to maintain accurate documentation
Position requires reliable transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage
Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus
