Job Summary
Responsible for collecting money making change and utilizing the cash register appropriately. Maintains a clean and orderly work area according to standards.
Essential Functions
Sets up cash register station according to standard and maintains clean work area.
Collects payments makes change and operates the cash register and cash handling equipment in an accurate and professional manner.
Stocks sales floor and performs support functions as designated per standard.
Counts balances drawer records totals and deposits money to appropriate location in an accurate manner as directed by management.
Provides excellent customer service.
Performs general sanitation responsibilities as assigned.
Drives towards meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Addresses customer experience and problem solves in a professional manner.
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred
6 months of relevant experience retail cashiering
