Position: Inside Manual Lay Machinist

Job Location: Harahan LA

Hutco Branch: Harvey LA

Rate of Pay: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour depending onexperience and interview.

Job description:

Fabricates assembles maintains and repairs metal objects by operating lathes shapers planers milling machines drill presses hydraulic presses and similar equipment. Measures work carefully by using precision tools such as a micrometer. Performs milling and lathe work on equipment such as pumps valves pistons shafts bowls impellers and other equipment. Uses adjusts cleans and stores the machinists trade tools machinery and equipment. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations decrease turnaround times streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
