Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Medical Director the Staff Physician provides comprehensive urgent care/primary care to Boston University students within Student Health Services. The clinical hours will be set at 30 hours per week for 9 months of the year (September through May). If the applicant has a Certificate of CAQ in sports medicine then a role as a sports team physician with a 4 hour clinical session seeing athletes in the Athletic Training Room Clinic would be entertained.

Communication & Relationships:

Communicate effectively with patients families and interdisciplinary teams within privacy standards.
Collaborate across university departments and community specialists to ensure coordinated care.
Model collegiality cultural competence and commitment to high-quality care.

Required Skills

Required Qualifications:

MD or DO from an accredited institution with completion of a primary care residency.
Board certified in a primary care specialty.
Licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts by start date.
Unrestricted Massachusetts Controlled Substance Certificate and DEA license by start date.

Preferred Qualifications: -

3 or more years of experience.
CAQ in Sports Medicine.
