Job Summary

Position Overview

Were looking for a friendly motivated Junior Help Desk Technician to be the first point of contact for IT support across our company. This entry-level role is perfect for someone early in their IT career who enjoys helping people solve tech problems and wants to grow their skills in a Microsoft-centric environment.

Youll work with Windows devices Microsoft 365 basic networking and user accounts all while learning from experienced IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 help desk support to end users via phone email and in-person
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 (Outlook Teams OneDrive SharePoint) support
  • Perform password resets and account unlocks in Azure AD / Microsoft 365
  • Help create/disable user accounts and assign access rights
  • Troubleshoot basic Windows issues (Windows 10/11)
  • Assist with printer/scanner setup and support
  • Log track and update support tickets in our help desk system
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff
  • Help set up new computer hardware and software
  • Keep inventory of IT assets and equipment

Who You Are

Required Skills & Traits:

  • Basic comfort with computers Windows OS and productivity software
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn IT concepts and tools
  • Organized and detail-oriented

Nice to Have (Not Required):

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 admin tools
  • Basic networking knowledge (DNS DHCP IP)
  • Experience with remote support tools
  • IT certifications (CompTIA A Microsoft Fundamentals etc.)

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Some college or IT coursework preferred
  • 01 years experience in IT help desk or support role we welcome recent grads and career changers!
