Manage and direct clinic business operations and oversee all clinic incoming and outgoing transactions. Address patient and staff issues employee schedules and daily operational concerns as they arise. Monitor staff performance and ensure that patient needs are being satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative supervision and support for clinic business office staff. Listen to and solve employee problems.
- Coordinate information from administration to clinic staff.
- Prepare and submit reports for business office as required. Insure that all patient deductibles and co-pays are collected. Handle daily bank deposits and reconciliation and sign-off on invoices and clinic expenditures.
- Interview hire and terminate staff. Review and submit payroll for processing.
- Order office supplies and equipment.
- Greet and check-in patients verify patient information insurance documents and referrals.
- Address patient insurance and billing needs and questions as they arise in a professional and courteous manner.
- Enter data into patient management system database as needed.
- Provide back-up support for other office positions; re: check out referrals data entry etc.
- Complete forms for clinic on an as needed basis.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
