Summer Internship Computing School of Mathematics

Job Summary
- Assist with deploying new computing hardware across the School of Math offices. Prepare decommissioned computer equipment for recycling.
- Maintain accurate hardware inventory records.
- Provide Help Desk support services to the School of Math Faculty Members and Staff. Update and maintain Math Computing Group documentation knowledge base articles and web pages.
- Assist with routine system maintenance including software updates and security patch installations.
- Support server room infrastructure projects such as racking cabling and deploying network servers.
- Participate in user account management including account creation password resets and access permissions.
- Shadow team members on projects or tasks to gain exposure to advanced system administration.
Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.
Completed or enrolled in coursework in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Hours: Monday - Friday - 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Dates: June 1 - Mid-August
