Job Summary

Join University Home Care Inc as a Personal Support Worker in Waterford MI. This rewarding role involves providing compassionate and personalized care to clients helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with clients to assist with daily activities while promoting a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean living environment
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients health or behavior to supervisors
  • Follow care plans and adhere to all safety and confidentiality protocols

Requirements

  • Own/ reliable transportation to make it to the client home.
  • Compassionate patient and dependable with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Must be able to pass background checks and provide references
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts as needed
