| Job Description: | The University of Florida is seeking an Admissions Officer I to support UF Online Enrollment Services in advancing the universitys recruitment and enrollment this role you will process applications review academic credentials render admissions decisions and communicate with applicants and academic units to ensure a smooth and accurate admissions experience. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Application Processing - Perform initial processing of applications for UF Online programs.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of majors degree programs and entry levels to ensure timely review.
- Evaluate and verify submitted documentation to determine file completeness.
- Review immigration documents and apply state regulations related to Florida Residency for Tuition Purposes.
- Ensure applications progress accurately through early processing stages.
File Completion & Credential Review - Develop working knowledge of admissions requirements across all entry levels.
- Sort screen and distribute incoming and outgoing mail (electronic and physical).
- Manage and maintain application files and ensure proper movement through the admissions workflow.
- Communicate with applicants and departments regarding missing credentials residency documentation test scores and transcripts.
- Support frontline staff by assisting with inquiries received via phone or email.
- Participate in crossfunctional events admissions committees Q&A sessions and contribute to training/resource development as needed.
Admissions File Review Other Duties - Manage and update application data in Slate and Campus Solutions.
- Reconcile data between systems to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
- Provide occasional assistance to other sections or participate in recruitment or professional development travel.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support office operations.
