The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic advocate for student learning possessing the skills and knowledge to create a positive and engaging classroom environment and create a demanding but compassionate educational environment. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic and personal development of our students fostering a love of Jesus a desire for learning and a passion for building community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary instructor for all subjects within the 5th grade curriculum including English Language Arts Mathematics and Religion.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities while aligning with curriculum standards and school goals.
• Embrace and integrate the Catholic faith into classroom instruction and activities fostering an environment where students can grow spiritually as well as academically.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued respected and motivated to succeed.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
• Actively collaborate with colleagues administrators and parents to support the holistic development of each student.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education or related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Prior experience teaching elementary school students; experience in a Catholic school and/or in a lead teacher position are a plus.
• As this position includes religious instruction applicants should be practicing Catholics with a clear understanding of the Catholic faith. We are looking for individuals who are eager to share their faith and values with our students.
• Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum standards and instructional best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues parents and administrators.
• Passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering the growth of their faith life academic potential and social/emotional health.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.

Salary Range: Our salary range for typical candidates falls between $52000 and $58000 but is negotiable based on experience. Full time positions include a full suite of benefits including health dental 401k match and more offered through RCAB.
