The Travel Coordinator will arrange business travel for employees students and athletics teams identifying the most cost-effective and efficient travel arrangements and making necessary reservations for accommodation.
Essential Functions:
Reviews and approves travel requests submitted via Colleague; requests corrections when/if needed.
Research and compares available travel and hotel accommodations to identify the best available option for each travel need.
When travel arrangements are within approved travel reasons and budget limits makes all arrangements and reservations as requested.
Monitors and facilitates the use of company credit cards requests statement reconciliations from all card holders monthly.
Reconciles the Business Office American Express travel card timely monthly providing all receipts and appropriate documentation.
Reviews and approves reimbursements for travel expenses and provides follow up for travel advances and associated reconciliation including return of funds.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
