INTRODUCTION
The Department of Educational Psychology in the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut invites applications and nominations for a non-tenure track assistant or associate nine-month Clinical Faculty of School Psychology beginning August 2026. The successful candidate will join a dynamic program and department and will support the masters/sixth year and doctoral school psychology programs.
The highly productive Department of Educational Psychology offers graduate degrees in School Psychology; Special Education; Counselor Education; Giftedness Creativity and Talent Development; and Research Methods Measurement and Evaluation. The mission of the school psychology program is to prepare scientist-practitioners whose professional interests involve children families and the educational process. The program orientation emphasizes integration of theory and research stressing an empirically informed approach. There are currently 3 core faculty in the School Psychology programs. We are seeking a highly organized motivated and knowledgeable school psychology colleague to contribute to and advance our esteemed MA and Ph.D. programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will work with the School Psychology faculty to lead the NASP-approved masters/6th year program and support the APA-accredited doctoral program which are located at UConns main Storrs campus. The successful candidates responsibilities will include teaching courses directing internship and supporting clinical placements advising masters students leading NASP accreditation processes co-leading APA accreditation processes admissions pursuing extramural funding to support student training and engagement with related Connecticut state organizations. The typical teaching load for a non-tenure track faculty position is 3:3.

This is a full-time 9-month non-tenure track position with a 1-year appointment renewed annually. The anticipated start date is August 23 2026. The successful candidates academic appointment will be at the Storrs campus. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
