The Pediatric Clinical Coordinator develops a back office team that is dedicated to providing high-quality compassionate clinical treatment for pediatric patients in a welcoming child-friendly and non-threatening environment. The Coordinator encourages clinical excellence teamwork and communication to ensure every childs visit is positive productive and reassuring for the parent/guardian.
- Sets the performance standards for the back office staff ensuring pediatric patient care is provided in the manner endorsed by the practice.
- Oversees the training of the back office staff in their duties and responsibilities works to expand their skills and knowledge as appropriate and assigns the clinical team their duties.
- Works with the Scheduling Optimization Coordinator (SOC) to establish the clinical staffs work hours and schedule.
- Motivates the team for high performance and refines procedures for optimum production.
- Enforces OSHA standards.
- Holds the team accountable to the procedure manual and communication memos in all areas necessary to maintain and ensure the highest quality.
- Checks stock orders supplies and maintains clean operatories.
- Accredited Licensed Dental Assistant course completion and/or minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the dental profession.
- Valid X-ray certificate.
- CPR & first aid certificate.
