RPO Recruitments client a well-established civil engineering contractor in Gauteng is seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman with a strong background in civil structures to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily on-site construction activities
- Lead site teams including artisans labourers and subcontractors
- Ensure work is carried out according to drawings specifications and programme
- Monitor productivity workmanship and quality of work
- Enforce health & safety standards and site compliance
- Assist with planning resource allocation and material management
- Report on site progress and address any issues or delays
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering or similar qualification
- 510 years experience on civil structures (bridges culverts retaining walls reservoirs water treatment works dams tunnels etc.)
- Proven experience working on bridges
- Strong understanding of construction processes site supervision and safety practices
