Youll be hands on with recruiting onboarding employee relations training benefits and engagement activities all while promoting a positive and productive work environment. What Youll Do - Partner with employees to build trust resolve issues and support HR needs.
- Manage recruiting and onboarding including job postings interviews and new hire orientation.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities that strengthen culture and morale.
- Maintain accurate employee records and reports in our HRIS system.
- Communicate HR policies and provide guidance to managers and employees.
- Support leave of absence management and other employee programs.
- Support community connections to enhance Cooper Steels visibility and reputation.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
What Youll Bring - Bachelors degree in business management or a related field preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of HR experience.
- Excellent communication problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- High attention to detail sound judgment and excellent problem-solving ability.
- A positive self-motivated attitude and a passion for helping others succeed.
