Sandviks Rotary Drilling Division in Alachua FL (near Gainesville FL) is looking for an experienced eLearning Developer to turn complex technical content into clear engaging learning experiences for our teams and this role youll shape how operators and technical staff worldwide learn to work safely and effectively with Sandvik rotary drills and related equipment.
What Youll Do
Design develop and deploy SCORMcompliant eLearning courses on technical subjects.
Build and enhance multimedia learning materials: modules manuals assessments job aids and trainthetrainer content.
Conduct training needs assessments and help identify competency gaps.
Partner with subject matter experts to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Manage multiple development projects using project management tools ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
Maintain content in the Learning Management System (LMS) and support translations into multiple languages.
Apply modern instructional design strategies and tools to continuously improve course quality and learner engagement.
What You Bring
Ability to work in the U.S. on a full-time indefinite basis without sponsorship.
5 years experience creating and delivering technical training (eLearning and/or instructorled) using virtual tools and LMS platforms.
Demonstrated ability to simplify complex technical information and make it engaging and easy to retain.
Experience with tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise Office 365 Adobe tools (Illustrator Photoshop FrameMaker Dreamweaver) basic HTML and related multimedia/eLearning platforms.
Strong project management skills; comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously with tools like Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate across all levels and functions.
High attention to detail selfmotivation and comfort working in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree in Instructional Design Educational Technology Learning Technologies Multimedia Information Systems or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Work Environment
This role operates in a combined office and manufacturing environment. You may spend time in production areas which requires appropriate PPE and limited travel may be required for workshops seminars or global meetings.
