Job Summary
If you are a Software Developer looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you in our office in Round Rock TX! In this critical role you will help lead the design development and maintenance of web applications for the Life Sciences industry. Emerson provides innovative software for premier life science manufacturers around the this role you will be accountable for improving and maintaining existing products as well as documenting the next generation of our Life Sciences Suite
IN THIS ROLE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL:
- Design develop and test web-based applications (on prem or cloud)
- Collaboratewith members from marketing product engineering and other functionsto understand client needs so you can develop new features.
- Help build automated tests for new product features and enhancements to increase the completeness of the source code.
- Foster a culture of innovation and disciplined software engineering practices.
- Document and advise the creation of supporting documentation.

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science or Information Systems or a related STEM field.
- 5 years of .NETdevelopment experience with UX and Databases.
- Experience with modern frameworks like React and Angular.
- Experienced on the release of multi-version product.
- Proficiency in various database applications like SQL Server NoSQL and Oracle.
- Experience in progressive web apps and cloud native apps for delivering API interfaces.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Full Stack Development experience in MERN and MEAN frameworks including technologies such as HTML5 CSS3 Razor Views;andbackend development such as C# and Go
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
- Individuals with temporary visas such as E F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT) H-1 H-2 L-1 B J or TN or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future are not eligible for hire. MUST be US Citizen or possess a Green Card
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
- Experience with languages such as TypeScript and JavaScript including implementations such as and jquery.
- Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks to include MSTEST and JEST while using the Cypress and Selenium applications.
- Experience in Life Sciences Industry or Manufacturing Execution Systems.
- Experience with SAFe agile or any other Agile Frameworks in an Azure DevOps environment.
Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes to build containerized applications.
