Job Summary
Position Summary:We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of our elementary and middle school campus. This day shift position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe clean and well-maintained learning environment for students staff and Responsibilities:Perform general maintenance and repairs including HVAC plumbing and electrical systemsConduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of building systemsRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairsPerform landscaping duties including mowing trimming edging and general groundskeepingMaintain athletic fields and ball fields (dragging lining field preparation and upkeep)Perform snow removal and ice control during winter monthsAssist with custodial duties as neededSet up and break down equipment for school events and activitiesEnsure compliance with safety standards and school policiesRequirements & Qualifications:Experience in HVAC plumbing and basic electrical systems requiredExperience with landscaping equipment and general grounds maintenanceAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsDependable punctual and able to work independentlyWillingness to be on-call as neededAvailability for occasional overtimePreferred Qualifications:Previous experience working in a school or similar environmentsRelevant certifications in HVAC or skilled trades
