Summary

The Senior Freight Forwarder will be responsible for executing transportation and logistics projects for DSVs clients. They will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project timelines budgets and goals are met while also providing exceptional customer service. This role requires flexibility and extended availability.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate the importation or exportation of goods from end to end
Prepare and process required documentation
Monitor shipments and projects providing updates to customers 24/7
Manage relationships with customers ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
Execute project plans schedules budgets and deliverables
Identify and manage project risks and issues
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Communicate project progress to internal teams
All other duties as assigned.

Educational background / Work experience

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field
5 years of experience in project management or logistics
Experience working in Freight Forwarding is required

Fluent in English (oral and written)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with CargoWise is preferred

For this position the expected base pay range is $70304 - 84500 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors including relevant experience skills education or certifications and geographic location consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
