Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic driven and adaptable person to join the Yorkshire Environment Management Waste Department. You will manage Income Protection for the waste sector.

The role will be varied liaising with various stakeholders working with and providing advice and guidance to customers and working with colleagues nationally to develop a consistent approach to debt recovery. Experience in debt recovery and resilient at pursuing customers whilst offering good service would be an advantage.

We are looking for a flexible individual who can adapt to changing priorities with great communication skills who is outcome focused. The successful candidates will also be skilled in Microsoft Excel and Sharepoint will be well organised and able to manage multiple tasks at any one time. Knowledge of the waste regulatory industry would be preferable however full training will be provided.

Travelling to other location may be required from time to time as you will be invited to face to face meetings throughout the year to meet with the wider team.

If you are based in Leeds please note that our office location will change from August 2026. The new location will be still in central Leeds at Quarry House.
