Job Summary
Engineer offshore flow assurance that performssafely reliably sustainably.

As a Senior Process Engineer Flow Assurance Specialist youll lead the steadystate and transient design that keeps offshore systems stable from wellhead to topsideshelping our customers deliver reliable energy today while accelerating the transition to lowercarbon solutions.
Purpose of the role
Youll work independently at a senior level to define verify and optimize flow assurance and process scope across concept FEED EPC and commissioning. From multiphase simulation to operating procedures youll ensure designs meet codes mitigate operability risks and integrate seamlessly with subsea riser and topsides systems.
Core responsibilities
- Act as the focal point for flow assurance across FEED detailed design and commissioning driving clarity on scope schedule and quality.
- Review and execute steadystate and transient studies; validate pipeline and riser sizing insulation and heating concepts.
- Assess and propose mitigations for hydrates wax asphaltenes corrosion and erosion through design and operations strategies.
- Develop and review PFDs P&IDs control logic and operating envelopes; define chemicals and pigging strategies.
- Author startup shutdown pigging and chemical injection procedures; support FAT/SAT and readiness reviews.
- Perform advanced thermohydraulic transient and multiphase simulation; interpret PVT data hydrate curves and WAT.
- Collaborate with subsea riser process mechanical instruments and operations teams; mentor Level I/II engineers.
- Document decisions (TQs/TDs) close actions and deliver final technical reports and material specifications.
Skills & experience
- MUST: Proven experience in OFFSHORE projects across basic and detailed engineering.
- 12 years in offshore engineering with exposure to jackets topsides subsea pipelines risers SURF and FPSO systems; deepwater SPS & flowline/riser experience preferred.
- Tools: Expert in OLGA PIPESIM LedaFlow; thermodynamics packages PVTsim Multiflash GATE PRho; process simulation HYSYS.
- Strong command of multiphase flow behavior (slugging thermalhydraulic design) and transient operations.
- Able to lead multidiscipline integration and coach junior engineers; excellent stakeholder communication in complex settings.
- Languages: English C1; Spanish native or professional fluency.

- API 17A 17K; DNVSTF101/F119; ISO ; ASME API TEMA NFPA; applicable NOM/ASEA.
