Job Summary

Pfizers Enabling Functions Hubs serve to bring internal professional services such as Finance HR Digital and Sourcing together into a consolidated and simplified shared services structure. Colleagues in the Enabling Functions Hubs execute end-to-end operational activities that can be standardized and scaled for greater enterprise synergies and effectiveness. The work managed from these hubs will evolve and expand over time as Enabling Functions continue to evaluate their go-forward delivery model. With an established community and evolving support model Pfizers Enabling Functions Hubs are dynamic and energizing places to work. ROLE SUMMARY

The Sr. AssociatePayrollis responsible forthetimelyandaccurateexecution of all payroll activities and operations for assigned payroll processes. This role serves as a subject matter expert on payroll practices ensuring that payroll processes areexecutedefficientlyand effectively.

This rolesupports audit handles complex payroll issues prepares detailedreportsand works closely with PX Finance and external vendors to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency. This role provides support and guidance to other team members and contributes to continuous process improvements and system upgrades.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute activities associated with the assigned payroll processes which include but are not limited to:

  • Manageactivities associated with regular execution of assigned payroll processes includingerror resolutionto ensurea timelyandaccuratepayroll

  • Execute payroll controlsvalidateand reconcile payroll files

  • Manageand process more complex payroll processesincluding off-cycle payroll requests claw back processsales bonuses STD return to work LOA military leave severance and employee death.

  • Reconcile and remit payments to statutory authorities

  • Maintain payroll records and documentation

  • Prepare payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with company policies localregulationsand collective agreements

  • Facilitate data collection forpayroll auditsand compliance checks

  • Respond tocomplicatedpayrollinquiriesfromcolleagues and management as per established SLAs

  • Assistin year-end activities including taxand social security filings

  • Collaborate withPXand Finance toensure seamless payroll operations

  • Identifyprocess gapsandimplementimprovements

  • Ensure efficient training and handover of activities to other team membersand where needed serve as back-up of other team members.

  • Executecontinuous improvement initiatives for payroll processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree inFinance Accounting HumanResourcesor related field

  • 2-3yearsof payrollfinanceor human resources experiencewithdemonstratedincrease in responsibilities

  • In depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong Excelskills (e.g.lookup function pivot tables)

  • Ability tomaintainstrictprivacy and confidentiality

  • Able to communicate effectively in English (spoken & written) with colleagues at all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience withmulti-country(multi-state)or internationalpayroll processing

  • Experiencewith payroll software (e.g.ADP Workday SAP)

  • Certified Payroll Professional or similar professional designation

  • Ability to speak multiple (additional) languages is a plus
