About The Opportunity
Programmed Electrical Technologies department currently has a great opportunity for Electricians and Communication Technicians to join our team in Brisbane. This is a great opportunity to be part of a team that provides electrical and data installations on a wide range of customer sites. Working on predominantly federal government and commercial projects you will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing electrical and advanced communication systems.
Nature of position: Full-Time
Location: Banyo Brisbane

Key Responsibilities
- Fiber optic cabling and structured cabling installation termination and fit offs.
- Communications rack set up and installations.
- Installation termination and fit off of electrical infrastructure and apparatus
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their electrical and communication cabling needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Document all installation maintenance and repair activities accurately and comprehensively.
- Adhere to industry standards and safety regulations in all tasks.
About You
To join our team you will have an open registration cabling license with a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally you will have;
- Electrical license or ACMA license is mandatory
- Certificate III in telecommunications is desirable
- Experience in defense or commercial installations
- Defense clearance is highly regarded
- Current drivers license
- Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace
- Execute work that is of a high standard
- A strong commitment to and understanding of quality environmental occupational health and safety management systems.
