Team Member, IDO Operation & Strategy (HYBRID)

The mission of the Innovation and Design Office is to increase the metabolism of the enterprise by fundamentally changing the way we think work and lead as an organization. This includes guiding and executing on Equitables end-to-end approach to learning development talent strategy innovation strategy and process improvement.

What Youll Be Doing

Equitable is looking for a dynamic team member to join the IDO Operations & Strategy team one of several teams within IDO. You will ensure the proliferation of New Ways of Working throughout the enterprise through IDO efficiency and effectiveness across people teams and tools.. You will also partner with senior stakeholders to problem solve design and develop measurable and impactful solutions. To succeed in this role you will need to be able to work independently but also collaborate with others thrive in an ambiguous environment and have a relentless focus on outcomes. You will be a builder with low-ego energized by the challenges that come with creating new things.

In this role you will work in the office 2-3 days per week and remotely 2-3 days per week. Current employees who are fully remote will be allowed to maintain their remote work arrangement if selected for the role.

Key responsibilities:

• Program management of transversal NWOW initiatives e.g. Edge
• Lead various confidential consulting-style engagements on IDO strategy
• IDO culture engagement wellness and performance
• NWOW tool and vendor management
• Create programs and facilitate workshops (e.g. QBR Process Workshop)
• Serve as a thought partner on strategy and organizational design matters with business and functional area leaders

We are looking for a future leader who has strong analytical skills understands the financial services spacespecifically the Retirement and Asset Management industriesis comfortable interacting with executives and is excited to work through Agile principles & practices.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-profile dynamic environment and must be willing to support various projects often simultaneously.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule with an onsite presence of 2-3 days per week combining flexibility with team collaboration.

The base salary range for this position is $60000 - $72000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills experience and geographical addition to base pay Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases spot bonuses and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

What Youll Bring

Required Qualifications

• BA / BS
• 2 years of project or program management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of financial services industry experience
• 2 years working in an NWOW-like culture (Agile work management Design Thinking problem solving OKR goal setting Adaptive Leadership Process reengineering)
• Firm grasp of Equitable business acumen (e.g. how Equitable makes money different Equitable business lines)
• Experience with Viva Goals or similar enterprise goal management tools
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar work management tools
• Experience measuring and improving organizational culture from the inside
• Insurance industry and/or consulting experience
• Experience presenting to executives
• Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills with keen interest to further develop these abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex topics logically and succinctly
• Strong interpersonal skills maturity and good judgment
• Reliable with excellent prioritization skills and a clear focus on results
• Self-starter and comfortable interacting up down and across the organization
