- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Support childrens social emotional and cognitive development.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom setting.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about childrens progress.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Encourage positive behavior and promote a love for learning.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Patience enthusiasm and a genuine love for children.
- Flexible schedule with availability in the afternoons.
- Background check and clearance required.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
