Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Avionics Computer Safety Architect (f/m) to join our Avionics Products Development team based in Toulouse France.
The Avionics & Simulation Domain so-called Chamber of Reference is currently developing several brand new computers based on the Avionics product line while establishing new Ways of Working along with maintaining legacy Avionics products.
Within the Avionic Product department of this domain Raphaël Migliasso Head of Avionics Product Architecture and Safety is looking for a new Avionics Computer Safety Architect to join his team of 15 people in Toulouse France.

Your challenges :
The development of a new Avionic computer - usually based on the Avionics product line or
The development of a new standard of a Legacy Avionic computer
The follow-up of Legacy Avionic computer
Both types of development require to perform the main safety&reliability following activities :
Assess safety and reliability characteristics of the computer with the implication of specialists and experts on all required competencies (e.g. hardware software quality)
Contribute to the definition of the safest computer architecture with the product but also the hardware and software architect
Follow-up product maturity - with a Safety focus - through V&V anomalies analysis prioritization of correction of anomalies and industrialisation follow-up
Secure Safety analysis and demonstration for certification
Follow-up of Legacy Avionic computer mainly encompasses Safety analysis of problems encountered in service plus related Safety recommendations.
You will be supported by Technical Authority and/or Experts of the domain for negotiations/trade-offs involving external bodies and/or to build-up/validate
strategy/plan to sort out critical issues but also to support you in the preparation of certification evidences.
Your boarding pass :
Strong experiences in Equipment/System level development with experiences in Hardware & Software development;
Good knowledge of safety&reliability methodologies/approaches
Good knowledge of aeronautical stakes/regulations (e.g. ARP4754 DO178 DO254 DO160);
Good analysis / synthesis skills
Good communication & negotiations kills;
A negotiation level of French and English is required
