We are currently seeking a Hall Executive to join Jockey Club Student Village III (ref: 534475) in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations in our student residence.
The Role
- Assist with the administration and operations of a cluster of residences and be responsible for general office administration;
- Handle inquiries and student matters in a timely manner;
- Coordinate residence meetings events and service projects;
- Maintain inventory of office supplies handle procurement and ensure stock availability;
- Record income and expenses process invoices and payments and assist with various financial tasks;
- Offer support to student residents by addressing their inquiries and concerns; and
- Coordinate residents move-ins move-outs and room relocations.
The appointee may be deployed to various clusters of student residences based on operational needs as determined by the Dean of Student Affairs.
Qualifications and Qualities
- Preferably a recognized University degree OR at least completed Form 5 or above with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR a min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language Chinese Language and Mathematics;
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience;
- A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Good organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently;
- Attention to details and a good team player;
- Genuine interest in student welfare and student development; and
- Proficiencyin PC applications such as MS Office Suite knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Canva would be an advantage.
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on fixed term full-time contract for 2 years to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
