Casual Maintenance Officer

As a Casual Maintenance Officer you will support the team in safely and effectively completing maintenance tasks across the campus.

This is a casual position commencing in March 2026. This role is primarily based at our Kew Campus but there may be a requirement to move between campuses from time to time.

The Role:

• Conduct routine inspections of classrooms offices and other common areas across the campus
• Maintain a safe environment reporting hazards and maintenance issues as needed
• Set up and pack down equipment for school events and assemblies
• Respond to maintenance repair requests from staff
• Ad-hoc maintenance duties as required by the Maintenance Supervisor

The Person:

• Previous experience in general maintenance is highly desirable but not mandatory
• A commitment to working in and maintaining a safe environment
• Have the ability (or willingness to learn) to operate small power tools
• Excellent communication collaboration and problem-solving skills

A valid Employee Working with Children Check is a requirement of employment for this position.
