Job Summary
The position is responsible for assisting the kitchen team in ensuring that all kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy at all times and to ensure that all F&B outlets are provided with clean and sanitised operating equipment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Actioning cleaning duties within the kitchen food preparation areas and storeroom;
- General pantry duties and maintaining cleanliness of pantry fridges and freezers;
- Assisting in the preparation of food as directed by the Executive Chef or supervisory team;
- Maintaining cleanliness and rotation of stock in pantry fridge and freezers;
- Assisting with the receiving and storing of stock;
- Ensuring all kitchens are kept clean and tidy according to current Health & Hygiene regulations;
- Ensuring each outlet is supplied with sanitized clean and dry operational equipment.
Qualifications :
- Service Oriented with an eye for detail;
- Chemical Handling experience and an understanding of safe work practices preferred;
- Self-Motivated and energetic;
- Ability to work independently;
- Time management skills with the ability to multitask.
