This role provides comprehensive support for key operational processes and other customs-related compliance activities such as but not limited to:
- Audit import and export operations to ensure accuracy regulatory compliance and alignment with internal procedures.
- Provide support for operational processes including virtual transactions regime changes temporary import programs regularizations returns and other customsrelated transactions.
- Assist in updating maintaining and documenting departmental procedures to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure proper implementation of compliance standards and best practices.
- Maintain strong control and documentation integrity to support legal and corporate requirements.
In addition this position leads the administration and continuous improvement of the companys trade security and compliance programs. This includes managing and supporting audits and certification activities for programs such as OEA CTPAT and VAT Certification. The specialist serves as part of the primary team responsible for maintaining the companys security programs ensuring they meet regulatory requirements internal policies and global trade security standards
