Job Summary
Schedule: 12 Months / Monday Friday / 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain confidentiality in working with personnel information.
- Initiate process and maintain purchasing & payable accounts for all school funds.
- Process all checks received by the District for deposit.
- Prepare and write checks for all in-house payments as required.
- Maintain and organize all appropriate copies and financial documentation by month to facilitate monthly reconciliations.
- Maintain and process all 1099 information and issue forms.
- Code expenditures to the correct budgetary account.
- Process requisitions and prepare and process purchase orders to ensure they have been charged to proper accounts and that there are sufficient funds available.
- Process petty cash reimbursements.
- Maintain an accurate filing system of all invoices bills receipts etc.
- Work closely with vendors and District staff to expedite purchasing and payments.
- Assist with the maintenance of the Finance Office Procedures manual.
- Direct the preparation of all general school fund bills and special revenue fund bills for payment by the Town Finance Officer.
- Provide information and requested detail to auditors during annual audit.
- Assist in the maintenance of general fund and special revenue fund financial data.
- Process lunch applications including informing applicants of results.
- Prepare various statistical reports as the Finance Director and/or Comptroller may direct.
- Provide administrative support to other departments within the Administration Office as needed.
- Monitor and respond to District-related email communications.
- Complete mandatory trainings as assigned through the Districts Learning Management System (LMS) in a timely manner.
- Assume other generally related responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Finance and/or Comptroller.
