Job Title: Senior Network Security Consultant VPN Review & Cryptographic Modernization

Location: Remote US

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Range: $60/hr - $70/hr

Role Overview: Senior Network/Security Consultant to conduct a comprehensive review and modernization of IPSec VPN environments across U.S. and international networks.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory and document all Site-to-Site VPN tunnels
Validate tunnel activity configurations and cryptographic standards
Perform traffic and NetFlow analysis
Map VPNs to application owners using CMDB tools
Provide audit documentation and remediation support
Coordinate changes with internal teams and relevant technical contacts

Required Qualifications:

Deep expertise in IPSec VPNs and cryptography
Strong audit validation and documentation skills
Experience with global enterprise environments
Familiarity with tools such as Niksun NetScout Wireshark NetFlow/StealthWatch Infoblox and CMDB
