This is a Full-Time Non-Exempt HR leadership role reporting directly to the CEO. The Director of People Services serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership overseeing all Human Resources operations while fostering a people-first culture across a 200 employee hospital in rural Nevada.
This role blends strategic HR leadership with operational oversight labor relations workforce planning and culture development.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and evaluate Human Resources operations to ensure performance and quality objectives are met
Develop and execute retention strategies to reduce turnover and support long-term talent development
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and C-suite leadership
Oversee staffing functions: recruitment onboarding evaluations disciplinary actions and professional development
Build and maintain positive labor relations including leading union negotiations
Analyze workforce data to drive engagement staffing and satisfaction improvements
Manage HR department budget and ensure compliance with funding allocations
Coordinate and direct internal and external HR audits
Supervise one HR support professional
Foster a culture that promotes professional growth and employee engagement
Bachelors degree (required)
Minimum 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience
HR certification (preferred)
Healthcare experience (preferred)
