Job Summary
Manager Notes:
- India-based role; ETW does not have to work on-site at ITC but will need to be based in India and work IST hours
- Potential for extension not guaranteed
- Resource will work typical work hours but will be expected to work a couple of hours in the evening to connect with US resources; HM does not anticipate exceeding 8 hours/day
- Degree will be required for this role (see JD)
- 3 years experience required with Workday integration (4 preferred)
- 4 years experience building integrations and software development
- Top must-have skills:
- Experience with Web Services (WSDL SOAP) EDI and Flat file integrations
- 2 Workday Integrations with Workday Studio EIB Core Connectors and payroll connectors (PECI) and their related tools such as XML XSLT
- Team player
- Good communication skills
- Workday certification highly preferred - those candidates will be prioritized
- ETW will work on a direct team with 5 in India 2 others in US; all working on the integrations team within HR technology
- HM anticipates 1-2 rounds of interviews
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Workday Senior Software Integration Engineer II you will work with the team of engineers working on integrations across products. You will responsible to develop test and deploy integrations required to meet business requirements. You will be driving the technical deliverables to be delivered on time.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Create detailed system integration specifications field mapping and process designs
- Evaluate communicate and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Managers and Configuration Engineers to understand their integrations needs.
- Maintain up-to-date integration design documentation to reflect any changes
- Conduct root cause analysis to determine appropriate action plan for break/fix.
- Ensure 100% alignment to all policy processes and procedures.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas of HR data and information whether internal or customer specific.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
- Work with lead / Manager to make sure assigned work is delivered on time.
- Work with product management to understand business requirements.
- Work with integrations and cross product engineers to deliver the deliverables on time.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 4 years of experience building integrations and software development.
- 3 Workday Integrations with Workday Studio EIB Core Connectors and payroll connectors (PECI) and their related tools such as XML XSLT
- 3 years experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors
- Experience with Web Services (WSDL SOAP) EDI and Flat file integrations
- At least one full implementation of Workday with demonstrated Workday technical and integrations experience
- B.S. in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Management Information Systems
- Advanced understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle including integration requirements gathering design development testing and move to production
- Knowledge of SaaS applications SaaS deployment models and SaaS DevOps
- Ability to collaboratively work with Product owners in the implementation of the technical content in Agile Framework.
- Workday Studio Certification preferred
- Experience with Object Oriented concepts preferred
- Detail oriented with superior analytical problem solving pragmatism and organization skills
- Ability to pick up new technologies and common applications
