Why this role is important

What youll do:

Answer and triage phone calls throughout the day.

Retrieve faxed or electronic prescribers orders prescriptions or prescription refill requests.

Process medication refills on the pharmacy management software (Kroll).

Perform outbound calls to obtain clarifications from clients.

Sort file and follow-up with pharmacys paperwork to ensure regulatory compliance.

Use the pharmacy management software (KROLL) to ensure relevant documents are printed and delivered to clients.

Coordinate with other pharmacies to mediate prescription transfers.

Support other pharmacy teams as required.

What you bring:

Excellent communication skills and customer service skills

Detail oriented and ability to prioritize work assignments

Ability to adapt to change

Experience working in a fast-paced environment where high attention to detail and accuracy is essential

Ability to work and maneuver quickly and consistently for extended periods of time

Positive cooperative and team-oriented attitude

High School Diploma

Exposure to Hospital or Long Term Care Pharmacy

Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment
