JOB OVERVIEW
Working under the supervision of the Business Director the Business Associate processes financial and administrative transactions for FRONTLINE. As a business team member the Business Associate has primary responsibility for the departments day-to-day accounting activities including processing purchase requisitions and department invoices setting new vendors up in our payment system expense tracking and other operational addition the Business Associate is responsible for supporting the units employees with time sheets and expense support submissions IT support and Workday system support as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Timely and accurate completion of key tasks in Purchasing Billing and Payroll
Work closely with suppliers/vendors and Accounting to set up suppliers as part of the Payment Automation project.
Process all Account Payable invoices for payment through Workday via creating requisitions and supplier contract requests.
Assist the Business Manager with the necessary support for expense/revenue accruals and other accounting-close requirements.
Support department with administrative tasks across time-reporting and expense-reporting and help train new hires on key administrative tasks.
Serve as department liaison to service groups across the Foundation such as HR Accounting Budget Legal Design etc. and operate according to policy guidelines.
Facilitate asset tracking using ITs Tech Assets database. Review consistently to verify accuracy.
Track and review expenses as needed for the department as assigned.
Use web-based system called ICON for worker classification service to identify Independent Contractor status for suppliers.
Collaborate with Business Manager to streamline processes to maximize efficiency.
Assist in contract creation process including creating contract parties and program records in our database.
Process payments in accordance with contract guidelines and restrictions.
Manage deliverables to accounting department for Massachusetts Film Tax Credit.
Compile information and support the business unit in the preparation of budget and financial reports.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years experience in finance and administration; experience in accounting strongly preferred.
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required.
Relevant experience in media management/production a plus.
