As an Operations Analyst in Collateral Operations you ensure timely and accurate portfolio reconciliation effective dispute management and strong adherence to global regulatory requirements. You will lead cross-LOB metrics and projects while cultivating a culture of continuous improvement that supports Back Office Middle Office and global teams. You will partner closely with Operations and Technology stakeholders to resolve breaks enhance data quality and deliver scalable solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute portfolio reconciliation and manage collateral dispute resolution end-to-end.
- Manage MTM breaks improve data quality and drive strategic remediation projects.
- Continuously deep-dive upstream issues to minimize recurrent breaks.
- Resolve breaks in partnership with Middle Office Credit Risk VCG and related teams.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory regimes including CFTC EMIR and NCMR.
- Perform UAT to validate system and process changes prior to deployment.
- Lead strategic automation initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance controls.
Required qualifications skills and capabilities
- Bachelors or Masters degree with 2 years of experience in operations.
- Knowledge of capital markets and OTC derivatives including product process and system understanding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to interface across business and technology stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook PowerPoint Excel Word Access); ability to operate in a fast-paced environment prioritize team and individual workload meet tight deadlines and work global hours as needed.
Preferred qualifications skills and capabilities
- Working knowledge of CFTC EMIR and NCMR regulations.
- Experience with OTC confirmations collateral management and reconciliation platforms.
- Hands-on experience in user acceptance testing and change validation.
- Exposure to process automation and tooling to improve operational efficiency.
