About the Role
This position will deliver comprehensive support to Senior Management and Department Heads in a dynamic fast paced environment. This role will offer variety as it requires collaboration with Managers Engineering Production Marketing and more to complete business critical administrative tasks. While this role will deal with the usual day-to-day admin this role offers the opportunity to expand your scope and work on exciting projects.
Based out of our brand-new Ingleburn office this position will be tasked with:
- Supporting Leadership: Assist the General Manager with calendar management book domestic and international travel presentations processing of corporate expenses email management and other ad hoc tasks.
- Event Coordinator: Support Senior Management and Marketing to ensure the successful organisation of company events. Ranging in scale this may include University career days to company-wide training sessions to employee birthday celebrations.
- External Stakeholder Management: Act as the first point of contact for various supplies vendors and external contacts. Where required you will review and assess supplier offerings to find better deals and offers. This may include technical systems financial institutions supply chain partners.
- Process Improvement: Consistently maintain a focus on creating more effective and efficient processes to allow all members of the team operate productively. Review current procedures for administrative tasks and offer advice around best practice
The Right Person
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with Senior Managers in busy environments and values efficiency and organisation. You will communicate enthusiastically clearly and understand the urgency required for time-poor Managers. You will enjoy variety and be enthusiastic about working with all areas of the business.
You will be:
- An Experienced Administrator: Ideally 5 years in a fast-paced administrative position. Previous experience leading a team or managing projects would be highly regarded. Experience in blue-collar environments would be beneficial.
- Organised Professional: You will be able to juggle multiple deadlines varied tasks and differing personalities. You will represent both the business and Management as the internal and sometimes external face of the business.
- Strong Communicator: You will be able to communicate effectively with employees of all levels. From Trades to office staff to Directors you will efficiently deliver expectations answer queries and request information.
- A Team Player: As an internal stakeholder that touches many parts of the business you will collaborate well and often. You will know how to get things done and which resources to tap on the shoulder to get what you need.
