Job Summary
Job Duties/ Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Main tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead the creation and application of differentiating technologies across a portfolio of current and future plastics assets and opportunities.
- Identify and evaluate global opportunities for operational and technological improvements that enhance business performance.
- Provide expert internal consulting and guidance on complex studies ensuring alignment between technical strategy and business objectives.
- Drive internal Intellectual Property (IP) development and actively monitor external IP trends relevant to plastics process technologies.
- Mentor mid- to senior-level technical professionals supporting knowledge development and succession planning.
- Represent the company at industry forums and lead collaborations with external partners to integrate cutting-edge technologies.
- Influence senior leadership decisions by providing insights into complex technical and business challenges and recommending actionable solutions.
- Drive innovation by developing new technologies repurposing existing solutions in novel ways and identifying opportunities for commercialization.
- Ensure knowledge retention and sharing to build technical depth and maintain a long-term competitive advantage in plastics production.
