Bar Backs are essential to keeping the bar running smoothly by staying organized anticipating needs and ensuring bartenders have everything they need to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

The Role

Restock liquor beer juices and bar supplies; keep liquor rooms and beer coolers clean organized and stocked
Complete opening duties to ensure the bar is fully set up and ready for service
Complete side work and closing duties including cleaning the bar area restocking glassware and preparing for the next shift
Support bartenders by keeping wells stocked ensuring kegs are connected and functioning and replenishing supplies throughout service
Change kegs and assist with inventory organization as needed
Maintain all safety sanitation and cleanliness standards in accordance with Health Department and restaurant guidelines

Requirements and Skills

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants must be 21 or older
Must have or be able to obtain ABC Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) and California Food Handler Certification
Previous restaurant or bar experience preferred
Capable of efficiently multitasking in a fastpaced highvolume environment
Can lift up to 75 lbs. including overhead lifting and handling of kegs
Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods throughout a shift
