The Assessor position is a key member of the Behavioral Health Team responsible for conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments for adults who are seeking services or have been referred from a variety of community settings. The Assessor prepares thorough diagnostic evaluations by building meaningful relationships actively engaging clients in the assessment process and contributing to a collaborative team-based approach to care.
Working closely with behavioral health professionals and community service providers the Assessor develops individualized treatment recommendations tailored to each clients unique needs. This role partners with case management staff to ensure recommended services are effectively implemented including short-term crisis intervention and appropriate linkages to ongoing community supports.

- Bachelors or masters degree in counseling social work or other mental health related field; and current Ohio licensure. LSW LISW LISW-S LPC LPCC and LPCC-S are all desirable.
- Experience working with DSM 5 diagnoses including substance cause is helpful.
- Working knowledge of the Hamilton County behavioral health system of care preferred.
