Job Summary
Description
The Grocery / Refrigeration Clerk at Mothers Market supports the daily operations of the Grocery and Refrigeration departments by maintaining well-stocked organized and high-quality product displays. This role plays a key part in delivering excellent customer service while ensuring product freshness accuracy and compliance with food safety standards. Grocery / Refrigeration Clerks represent Mothers Market values and contribute to a welcoming wellness-focused shopping experience.
Wage Range: $17-$21/hour

Key Responsibilities
- Stock rotate and face grocery and refrigerated products according to company standards
- Ensure proper dating freshness and temperature control of refrigerated items
- Maintain clean organized shelves coolers and backroom areas
- Assist customers with product location questions and recommendations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to leadership
- Remove expired damaged or unsellable products promptly
- Support accurate inventory practices and shrink reduction efforts
- Follow all company policies safety procedures and food-handling standards
- Promote Mothers Market values including wellness sustainability and community
- Work collaboratively with team members to support smooth store operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous grocery or retail experience is a plus but not required
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexible availability including weekends evenings and holidays
